My name is Jade Trussell - I use to rent property from Status Mark and recently moved into my own home at the beginning of this month i.e. 01 Oct 2013. My last day on the lease was 30 Sep 2013 and I moved out and satisfied all document/information required for my payment of deposit refund to be finalized. I requested the statement of account so that I can confirm that my deposit had been placed in an interest bearing account as is required to cover the repair costs for when I left, as is required. It is now the 21 Oct 2013 (3 Weeks Later) and I am still advised, "I don't know when it will be finalized", this is the response I have received from Melissa who works at Status Mark. The issue that I am having is that they cannot tell me when I will receive my funds. Surely as they are a reputable organization they should have timeframes to refunds. I was advised that the payment will be made 2 weeks after it has been finalized, yet mine is still to be finalized 3 weeks after I had done everything that I needed to do. This effectively means that I will be refunded 2 weeks from anything from now until whenever.
