My Mother passed away 2 years ago. We had her cremated and bought a small garden site at the Fourways Memorial Park.
Ever since we paid, the attitude and service of Collinge has been poor and non-existent respectively. We had a small headstone made, which they took several months to do when it was promised in a week or two.
Then we asked them if they could put the headstone in a metal frame that would lift it off the ground so that water and dirt did not cover it. They promised to take care of it right away. A year and a half later, they had still done nothing. They to us by telling us they had taken care of it, but had the frame. A blatant as evidence of it's existence would have been obvious.
On February 4th 2013 I visited my Mother's grave, and asked Collinge once again to please put the headstone in a frame and raise it off the ground. They promised it would be done within 10 days. Seven weeks later and it is still not done. Now the gravestone is missing entirely.
They have their money. Once they have their money, you can forget about getting any service from this dishonest and disrespectful organization.
