Ecently got an sms from the company stating I owe over R 4600.00 for a TV license! I have contacted the TV license department, and e mailed them my ID, my husbands ID and a copy of our license which is up to date. Yet I still get sms's. NOW I have 48 hours to pay!!! Who the heck do these people think they are. The last time I had a TV License was prior to 2003... HOWEVER... I think my ex husband is using my ID, and that seems to be fine by this company. IF MY NAME GOES ON TO THE ITC I WILL HOLD THIS COMPANY LIABLE!!! Besides that do I have to remind this company of a thing called Prescribed Debt??? AS PER THE GOVERNMENT CONSUMER ACT.
Totally disgusting that these people harass innocent people.
