I have been a discovery user for 2 years now and up until now I have been extremely happy.. Up until sunday 28 july when I went to dischem to collect my chronic medication. I was advised that my funds have been exhausted. When I enquired about this I was told that my medication is not considered chronic. This is unacceptable as when I applied to your medical scheme I was assured that I would be covered for this medication. Now I'm being told that it does not fall under chronic and the funds need to come from my savings. I am disgusted at the service I have received from discovery and the fact that I was mislead upsets me even more. As a result of this I will be taking my business elsewhere and will never deal with discovery again as I am not prepared to entrust my medical needs to a company in whom I have NO confidence.
