Glynwood hospital
No Empathy for the patient's children

My mother had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last year July. She has been very ill and been in and out of the Glynnwood Oncology ward, but of late the service has been much to be desired. The patient's cannot suffer at the frustration or impatience of the staff.

I would like to complain about the attitude of the staff. My mother was admitted to the hospital about 6 weeks ago with pneumonia. She also was very disorientated & confused. We subsequently found out that she now has a tumor on the brain. While she was in the hospital the nurses were not very caring and while assisting her to the bathroom & she had scraped her arm against the wall causing her to bruise badly.

My mom was admitted to the hospital on Friday as she started getting very confused and her right arm & hand became inactive. When I came to visit my mom this morning & the sister in charge made a very unsympathetic comment saying that they don't know why she is even in the hospital. They don't sit up nights with my mom who is in pain & cant get to the toilet in time or see how confused she is. We don't get any feedback from the doctor to tell us what is going on. It is very frustrating & we need answers.
