SAMSUNG S4 STOPPED CHARGING

I am a loyal Samsung customer and almost all my appliances are Samsung. I decided to upgrade my contract and get the Samsung Galaxy S4. I have had the phone for a little over five months and when I wanted to charge it on 17 November 2013, it showed that the charges was plugged in, but was not charging the battery.

I took the phone to a Samsung Authorised Service Centre (TM Electronics CC) on 18 November 2013. The device was diagnosed and I was told that the PBA Board needs to be replaced.

I don't understand why a device which cost approximately R 10 000.00 when I bought it just breaks and that I must now sit and wait for Samsung to secure parts.

What should happen is that they should replace the device. My concern is what will happen next month? Will it break again? Will I have to wait forever for the device to be repaired.

Whenever I call TM Electronics they tell me that its their power that is off or that they are waiting for parts. How much longer will it take? I have ordered fridges from other cities faster than what they have ordered parts from Samsung.

When Samsung Customer Care called them on 26 November 2013 they said their power was off. Not my problem.
