Hi,
My Samsung Galaxy s3's screen has cracked and i am the one to blame?
Now, i will accept responsibility for dropping the device, which i did, the device fell approximately 1 metre to the ground. I am willing to bet any money that whoever reads my complaint cannot honestly tell me that they have never dropped a cell phone in their life.
I know that when these devices are constructed, they are tested for these kinds of things, Samsung had the idea of using Gorilla Glass 2 on this device rather than Gorilla glass 1 as on the S3's predecessors.
My complaint isn't so much that i was made to feel like it was my fault, my complaint is because I not have to pay in excess of R 2200 to get my device repaired. Is that really what a piece of glass costs? Is Gorilla Glass 2 so weak that it cannot stand a 1m fall? This almost (note: almost) borders on false advertising, if the phone is marketed to have the strongest glass, the glass should be strong...
I have noticed that all complaints on here are directed to the advert on the right, i cannot use it as it will not accept anything i type into the "phone" field.
I look forward to your response
Regards,
Alex
