Quoted R850 to R1500 for a gas leak detection depending on the size of my house, advise my house was only 79sqm townhouse so I expected to pay closer to the R850. Once AAA arrived they quoted R1590 to do gas leak, I queried this and was fed some and bull story. Gas leak detection was done but price never finalised. Post detection (done in very short time as little effort needed to be applied as the effected area was obvious), we were then advised that the leak was indeed where we suspected and a "replace all" quote was started, whilst this was being done I saw all the bad reviews on the AAA service on Hello Peter and found that this overcharging antics were their modus of operation. I have refused to pay anything as I will not be taken for a ride and from what I see I would have struggled to get a report out of then should I not have accepted the quote in any event.
