I filled up with fuel at this service station on the 23/05/2013. I drove an estimated 20 km before my car did not want to start.
I sent my vehicle to honda to be seen too and they discovered that the fuel was contaminated with Diesel. In their own words they said the fuel station should pay for the repairs. I went to the fuel station to report the problem and they asked me to bring them a fuel sample. While this was all happening the cost to repair my vehicle was R4500.
The dealer flushed my system and put fuel from a different fuel station in and lo and behold the car is working 100%. I went to the fuel station to give them a fuel sample and they refused to take it. They simply said i cant prove it was from their station. I have my slips.
I would just like to warn anybody that is thinking of using a Total Garage to think again before filling up. These guys are happy to take your money but arrogant and deceitful when its time to take responsibility.
PS. I am going to urge my company to make it policy that none of our vehicles or customer vehicle are allowed to fill at a Total Garage.
