I would like to officially lay a complaint against my claim. Our vehicle was in an accident in August 2012. The vehicle was then taken to Premier Auto Refinishers. They repaired the vehicle and returned the vehicle on the 26th September 2012. The vehicle broke down in the first week of October 2012. Audi assist came out to view the vehicle. The picked up that the incorrect battery was inserted into the vehicle and the battery cover was missing. This was communicated to Hollard in the first week of October who intern spoke to the panel beaters. There was also a slight when accelerating which I communicated to Hollard and the penal beater.
The vehicle has broken down 4 more times after. Audi diagnosed the problems (Alternator, v belt and pipe that was bent a leaking) and kept the vehicle until the 19th January 2013. The cost of the repairs to the vehicle was around R4, 500.00. They also advised me that they could also feel the jerking feeling in the car and it could be due to the injector. They would need to investigate further.
I believe that a poor diagnosis of the vehicle was done by the repairer and the vehicle has not been restored to its original working order.
