Standard Bank Harassing NON-CLIENTS

I received a Phone Call and was asked my Birth date. After giving it the caller was not satisfied and asked me to go to a Standard Bank and identify myself. I refused to do this as I have never been a Client of Standard Bank. I was then told I can run, but cannot hide on which I called the Bank and spoke to a line Manager (Ruth). I was called back the following day by another manager and promised a letter of apopogy from the bank for treating people in such a manner. Well days later and the letter is still outstanding. It seems that they call any surname in the phone book and then want the person to go to a bank and identify themselves, but at whose cost? Unacceptable at the least
