Membership Cancelation

I called legal wise requesting to cancel my membership and I was asked to send a written request to facilitate the process. I'm wondering why legal wise never requested me to fill in any form of application when the account was registered. The opening of this account was an easy process over the phone and I would think canceling should be just as easy.

I no longer require the services of legal wise and would appreciate if they closed my account and ceased all communication with me.

Please assist.
