I was sitting on bus waiting on departure from JHB Station at 18:00 on 26/102013, to go home as I was in PTA for business away from home (CPT). A lady (not a passenger) was then allowed on the bus to ask for donations for "The Aids Foundation". She pleaded her case and some passangers actually gave her some money. As she came to me I said no and she replied insultingly: "oh u don't care, ". Its not right that paying passengers should endure this type of harrasment I also know that established charities like that has a structure wrt donations, becos I am supporting a charity monthly. This matter need to be seen to because that very same person could also be a threat to my life. There should be control and restrictions to make us passengers feel safe and enjoy your service. I will also take this matter to my company because we use your service regularly to transport our employees.
