In April 2013 I have contacted the call centre to cancel my 8ta contract which would have expired in May 2013. I was told to send a fax in order to do that. In June I realised that they are still deducting the amount of the contract and I contacted them again. According to the person, faxes were no longer accepted and I had to go to a Telkom store. I went to the store in Three Rivers Mall and they just refused to assist. In Nov I managed to get a days leave and went to the Telkom store in Vanderbijlpark. That person was helpful and send the required documents through to the call centre. But, still no joy - they still deduct. Reason: it is 2 different departments working with cancellation and they don't know which number needs to be cancelled.
All my contact details were attached, but they couldn't call to confirm?
I need my contract to be cancelled immediately, but to get help from their side is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
