Every weekend i am at your store as i love buying from you. I believe that food lovers not only offers quality but good value for your money too. I seen that there was sign up for R49.99 for a box of litchis. all the boxes were half so I filled the remaining half of the box to make a complete box of fuit. When i got to the tills i could not believe my ears. The cashier advised me that sorry my box of litchis was too full, all the boxes contain less. I advised her that the sign said that i was paying for a box and not half a box. Sorry this was the rule. I left the litchis as i refused to pay for half a box, this was not what was advertised, your sign said a box and this was what i expected to pay for was a box not less. I really felt embarrassed by being stopped by the cashier. I am really disappointed by Food lovers, I feel that if you intedend to sell less, than advise me. I cannot believe that management asked the cashiers to check the boxes that customers were bringing to the till and stop them if it was "too much"... if that is the case, i can buy at Woolworths, where i receive excellent quality. I honestly feel cheated... did not expect this from you.
