On Sunday (27.1.2013) i purchased Eet Sum More biscuits 50g packs that were on special for R2.99. My kids were with, so they help load the trolley. When i got home i saw the expiry date is 14.1.2013. Obviously somewhat disturbed i told my husband. On Monday evening when he went back to the same branch the biscuits were still on special and the stock on the rack had an expiry date of 12.2012.
Also, i went to PnP in Sable Square to buy the Pop Corn strips that are on special for R5.99 (strip of 4 Jumpin Jack) only to discover that all the stock on the shelves had expired. Can PnP not see to it that they have fresh stock when items go on special. Its not like you are a lower grade wholesaler that sells boxes and boxes of expired stock for way below cost.
I am a long time PnP customer, but it's little things like this taht makes a person reconsider.
