On the 5 the of July I took my kids to go and watch Despicable me 2 at Riverside Nu Metro. On entering the posters were visible advertising the Despicable me combo consisting of a cold drink served in a special animated cup, popcorn and also M&M's. Things started going wrong from the get go and although the foyer was crowded, there was only one till open. After standing in line for quite a while, we proceeded to the refreshment counter. From bad to worst. After spending 35 minutes in line, the attendant told me that we were actually in the wrong line so she will be starting with the line that started next to us... we then moved to another line and after standing in line for 15 minutes we finally reached the front. I ordered 3 Despicable me combos only to be notified that the M&M's are finished so she cant supply the combos?? Have you ever told children between the ages of 7 and 8 that after spending almost an hour in line that they cant have the Despicable me cups we were standing in line for??? She refused to supply the combo's with any other sweets so I ended up paying R48 for a popcorn and a cool drink. This on opening day of the biggest Animation of the year???
