With all the new immigration legislation changing, I found it overwhelming to seek the correct information as I was getting conflicting advice. I started looking online and felt more overwhelmed about peoples' nightmare immigration stories. I took my time as I was applying for a Contributory Parent Visa for my mother moving to Australia. It was a lot of money by the Australian government involved and a big application and I wanted it to run smoothly and as pain free as possible.
