I called the AdWords call centre today 13 December 2013 at about 10:05am to make inquiries about optimizing our advertising at Google. Basically, I am looking for someone who can optimize our advertising to make the best use of the system. We spend around R350, 000 or more per year at AdWords, and we're not convinced that we're getting the full benefit of the system.
I spoke with a man with what sounded like an American accent. He was not particularly friendly, nor was he at all helpful. I expected to be able to speak with someone dynamic and keen, who was interested in assisting customers. Instead, all he told me was that, as an existing customer he could not help me because I was not a new account. He was of NO use whatsoever.
My company recognizes the amazing product you offer, and we want to make better use of your product, so why not take an interest in our business and help us to grow? If we grow, then so does our AdWords budget.
I'm really disappointed by this call.
