If you are a professional and need a place to stay long term, the Thatch Guesthouse may not be the best choice.
As a tenant, I keep to myself and am polite and friendly even when I am not necessarily in the mood to talk to others; however, apparently my standards are unreasonable according to Sandra.
> My room had virtually see-through curtains for months, my side wall comprises two large sliding doors and you could see into my room at night.
> Sandra disturbed me at any time of day or night, shouting my name while trying to open the sliding door to my room.
> Over the last few days there have been tenants running up and down the stairways on either side of my room and talking loudly outside my room. 05:00 or 22:00; I need to wake up at 06:10 for work.
> Today, we have a bunch of screaming kids running up and down and making a noise. Happy that kids want to play, but it is a big property and they can play elsewhere instead of right outside my room.
> Sandra's response to my request for some peace and quiet while I study was to tell me to find somewhere else to stay. She hung up on me twice and then sent me immature SMS messages.
I move out tomorrow.
