I am halfway through my Electrical Engineering N3 qualification at the College of Cape Town, and I have decided to move to Northlink because of CCT's horrible admin processes. Absolutely nothing is done online or over email or fax. It is like they are operating in the 1980's. Everything is paperbased and you have to go into their horrible dark campus, with long queues and no customer service. There are generally only one or two admin ladies manning the admin counter, and it can sometimes take three hours just to collect a form from them. No-one smiles and everyone barks at you and looks like they are doing you a huge favour to answer your questions.
In addition, their info call centre is useless, they just direct you to the campus you are studying at.
I'm leaving this complaint for future students who are evaluating colleges before they register. Don't go to College of Cape Town, they really need to improve drastically. Or be visited by Blade Nzimande.
