On the 3rd day into the new school term there was an incident with my son and a teacher by the name of Brandon. My son phoned me very upset and I in turn phoned the school and spoke to the vice principal Marinda. Marinda phoned me back with a totally different story to my son. She later phoned to advise me that Tammy Vermaak who is the principal and owner of the school said that my son is suspended on Thurs &;Fri and there will be a meeting held to decided my son`s fate. On Tues Marinda phoned me to say that Tammy said that she doesn't want to expel my son but he is no longer allowed at the school and I must collect his report and referral letter. Marinda also said that my son had a problem with male authority and his marks were very low. This after me being at the school 2 mths prior where I was told that my son is a lovely boy, very quiet in class and a bit of a loner. As it was already July I emailed Tammy requesting a meeting with Tammy, Brandon my son and myself to which she did not reply. I sent Tammy 2 more emails and still no reply. This after a cost of /- R16000 to date. As a consumer paying for a service I do believe that I deserve to be treated with a bit more respect.
