I purchased a daybed couch from the aforesaid supplier on the 04th of March 2013 based on the picture they placed on Bidorbuy. This item set me back a total of R5020 (i.e. R3600 plus R1420 shipping costs) and it was to be shipped from Durban. I have not had joy with the merchandise.

When it was dleivered, it was package wrapped, however, one leg was broken and the couch was materially different to the picture they used to advertise. I called the supplier to let him know of the broken leg and he promised to ship a replacement. This was two weeks ago and nothing has happened to date.

I then wrote them an e-mail about the material difference between what they delivered and what was advertised. I have yet to hear anything from them.

If everything that is advertised on bidorbuy by this supplier is as materially different to what they advertise, this is tantamount to intentional misrespresentation and is thus illegal. However, if this was just one of those mishaps, as a customer I would expect a replacement. lThis is not an attempt on my side to defame the supplier, it is simply a complaint based on both the service and the item I received and I'm outraged.
