After selecting the Service Provider whom we expected to be the most reliable, with a good 'shared value' ethic and belonging to the Master Builders Association, we undertook to pave our driveway / pathway with SA Paving, utilising stoneware pavers from Stonemarket (apparently 1st grade products).
Following several return trips to redo and fix areas paved extremely poorly and repair of the electric gate wiring and sensor (cut by anglegrinders whilst paving), the finished product proved exceptionally patchy, with a complete line of colour difference between the 2 batches of product used. In addition, my wheelchair ramp (previously a good slope prior to the new paving) is now unsurpassable due to a steep 'hump' being created by the pavers by the front gate. The once dark chocolate garage pavers are now a blotchy light salmon pink colour. After several cancelled meetings and broken promises to attend repairs (where even 2 completely different product types and dimensions were used), we are now told that its'll 'all settle after several seasons of weather'. After spending R35 000 on my home 'improvements', my home looks worse than before and no longer has safe wheelchair access.
