Blue Granite kitchen Designs advertise in magazines. Got quote from Stefan Fourie & Maryka Hulscher for new kitchen. Paid 60% deposit work commenced. Promised it will take 3 days. After a month of Stefan coming 2 days and then not coming at all/sending someone for a few hours per day, we started complaining. Big mistake! He got mean and we had to beg, plead, fight for him to continue. If you phone him, he does not answer. If you phone Maryka, she cries and says she does not know what to do with Stefan. 7 weeks later we were left with an incomplete kitchen & many 'mistakes'. By then I had also already paid the 30% which had to be paid upon starting with the kitchen - so 90% payment were made. I notified them that we are going to the lawyer, Maryka's reaction 'do what we want'! We have pictures to show the quality/lack of quality of the work! The excuses such as we made changes to the plan - yes, minor changes but it was done on first day they started, ie. 14 May and approved by them on quotation! By 27 June we went to the lawyer after many phone calls, pleading. Our lawyer is taking this further but it still costs us a lot of money to fix the mistakes and finish the kitchen.
