So i purchased a Retina Display Macbook pro. upon Finding forum after forum reporting the exact problems i was having i decided to check it in for warranty, i run an online business from home and cannot afford more than 1 day of downtime - hence the R24 000 Mac, so i call incredible connection where i baught the machine and get graced with a young arrogant techi who was unreachable for close on 2 weeks nor a need to return my msgs, eventually, on calling just after his lunch break i reached him and was advised my ONLY OPTION is to bring it in and wait 6 weeks whilst they send away to jhb? I called CORE SA who made it clear policy is to offer a loan machine if one is available, i called back and asked the young lad for his manager, she "could not" speak to me, and techi insisted NO LOAN MACHINE. i was willing to wait for one - but nothing to offer me. sorry. Not sure if "APPLE SA" is lying about protocol or Incredible corruption in this case? So i find Apples for Apples, approved apple warranty repair folks, right here in durban, guy says come through, Parts ordered - will be here in 2 weeks, i keep my mac, bring it in for 2 hours while they repair, problem solved.
