We went to Towbars Cape because they claim to be experts. We had a nudge bar and spotlights installed on our vehicle. We spent over R25 000 This vehicle had new tyres fitted and we noticed that the front tyres had worn completely smooth not long after the installation. We took the vehicle back to Tiger Wheels & Tyre to
complain to them about their tyres. We showed us that the nudge bar had been fitted onto the "eccentric bolts that set the wheel alignment". The bar had been welded onto the nuts and the nuts also welded onto the chassis. In doing the above installation, the alignment had been completely knocked out resulting in the destruction of our new tyres within a few kilometres. They had to grind the eccentric bolts off in order to realign the wheels. The vehicle does not have fixing points for the nudgebar and we should have been advised as such. Towbars Cape won't refund us for the damages. They say that we only complained after we had corrected their bad work. We had no option we had to travel & needed tyres.
