Phoned Autoquip on 28.12.2013 and spoke to Tristan, got a quote for a tyre for my Chev Spark. He quoted me R590 for a Goodyear and R650 for a Firestone. I then arrived at the branch, they pulled up my car and started the process of changing my tyres. They then informed me that they made an error and they gave me the incorrect price and only have the R650 tyres available. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes I receive a bill for R1580 for two tyres? Apparently everything is extra, wheel alignment the works, however I was never informed of this when phoning in for the quote??? Add the fact that the alignment could not have been done correctly as the car veers to the left when attempting to drive straight. Please explain why I have to pay R280.00 extra for nothing?? Oh and my parked outside, open, key in the car, nobody explained what was done?
