Today I ordered for collection at the Bracken City store in Brackenhurst. My order consisted of: One fishcake, one portion of Hake and a portion of calamari tubes. I find it hard to believe that I paid these prices for these miserable excuses for "portions" the quality and quantity does not match the price. The calamari tubes were like bullets, they were rubbery and hard and basically inedible, and the fish cake was burnt black and very salty.
For the amount paid for these items, the expectation of quality was quite high. I would go back to the store and request that they replace the calamari and the hake, but firstly: I don't have the time as I have work to do and I have my own clients to keep happy, and secondly, Why should I waste petrol to go back to the store to ensure that the job is done properly, even though it should have been done properly in the first place.
Customers should not have to drive up and down, returning good for inferior quality. The store manager or the person appointed to ensure quality control should prevent this from happening.
