Wimpy the family restaurant where mine was ignored

It is with regret that I have to write this report... My wife, my four month old daughter and I, went to the Fourways Crossing branch of Wimpy this weekend. Upon arriving, we were told to stand in a queue as the restaurant was full and could not accommodate us. We were first in the queue and waited patiently. Another couple with an additional adult walked in from behind us and was seated immediately, right in front of our eyes. The waiter that took them to their table, didn't even look in our direction. I asked the lady at the counter, "Mercy", if I'm not mistaken, why these people have been seated and we're left waiting outside with a four month old baby. She did not apologise for this and merely said that she would ask the waiter. It was at this point that I decided to leave and have breakfast elsewhere. The sad part about this incident is that I always thought that Wimpy was a family restaurant, yet my family was completely ignored! I am disappointed by Wimpy Fourways Crossing, the fact that we were completely overlooked shows a blatant disregard for the principals that Wimpy is supposed to be built on. Should couples with small children not be helped first??? Apparently not!!
