I subscribe to Groupon and got a discounted voucher for a Sunday lunch carvery-eat-as-much-as-you like at Vasilis Morningside Sandton. I never use my Groupon and this was the first time. Well the food was unbeliavable, the quality, the choice and the whole experience was absolutely delightful. I must say that there were a lot of lunch "Groupon people/groups" obviously enjoying a wonderful discounted Sunday lunch, which I myself was doing. One thing I ask is how the establishment makes a dime when some people just totally abuse the "eat-as-much-as-you-like" and take it to the max. Prawns as part of your meal is ever so generous for a meal and then to get a further discount... well it's welcomed but not abused. I witnessed a very 'slim" lady go up and dish prawns not one, not twice, not even 3 times... try 5!!! She basically finished everything without an ounce of shame. Yes enjoy the meal that is discounted but goodness me don't behave as if its your last meal and you may never see another prawn again... I was shocked. Totally entertaining and I just could not help myself when I kept seeing her come for more and more and more... It was like one of those "Carry On" comedies.
