Having faced massive flood damage to my home in Somerset West on Friday 15th November, I contacted Blenheim on Saturday morning and within a few hours the assessor arrived. He was extremely sympathetic and helpful and by Sunday, the ruined carpets were pulled up and the wheels were set in motion. So far, despite the Xmas holidays, they have dried the house, repainted, replaced doors and skirting boards and put all my furniture into storage. Now the cupboards are being replaced. With luck, I should be able to go home by mid January.
Compared to the horror stories related by my neighbors regarding certain other insurance companies, I have been extremely fortunate. I can't thank Blenheim enough, along with the wonderful assessor, Natasha Jacobs who has shown so much kindness and patience with me during this difficult time.
