Do they know what they do?

I had a credit card with blue bean that i did default on but after a while was FULLY paid. Now after a year I am getting calls from a collection agency that states that i am still owing blue bean more than R1, 000.00. I refuse to beleive that if I did owe them that it takes them a year before they contact me and not before as my final payment to them was end of May 2012 on the amount that was supplied by their credit collection agency. I refuse to pay them anymore money as FULL SETTLEMENT has been done. i do not wish anymore contact with any of their collection agencies but from Blue Bean directly to clear this problem.
