First National Bank
FNB lost my documentation and now won't respond

In November 2002 my family and I left South Africa and emigrated to Australia. FNB Newton Park retained my RA and Financial Exit (Tax) information. I am now, in 2013, attempting to get my RA's paid out to me and FNB needs to supply the above mentioned documentation before I can get my money released. The email below, sent by FNB, was received on 29/07/2013...

Hi

The PE IBC has reverted and unfortunately they have also not been successful in tracing a file. I will try one more avenue with regard to the policy documents which should have been placed in safe custody and will revert.

I emailed Marie requesting an update and also a manager's contact details as I am interested to find out how this issue is going to get resolved; this can cost me up to R20 000.00 if the documents are not found. Needless to say I have not had a response from Marie.
