I have been a client of Miway for more than 3 years and never once needed roadside assistence. My sister who was riding my bike got a flat tyre and needed towing. I spoke to a Phumi who arranged the callout. To cut the story short - it was taking too long and close of business was drawing near for the flat tyre to be repaired at a dealer. I cancelled the callout and was let know by my sister that Miway was irritated with her and said that she will be charged for cancelling. Francios Horn (Miway after hours) said I should not be charged as I qualify for this benefit and that he will get a manager to contact me. Instead I was contacted by the seemingly irritated Phumi to ask why I was unhappy about how he handled the matter! I should not have to talk to him and still no manager has contacted me despite having phoned Miway again for assistence! This is extremely unprofessional and has upset me so much that I have made a resolve that I can no longer deal with Miway for the sake of my good health and sanity. I need an insurer who is on my side!
