Around the beginning of October last year our residential line went down due to a neighbour cutting down branches in his backyard where the Telkom line is connected on a pole. The problem was reported to Telkom with ref. no. 220CTK131012. Only after about 3 weeks the line got "repaired".
Since just over 24 hours after (time given to reply if still faulty) after said "repair", the line keeps dropping on the ADSL and has gotten so bad over time that it drops about every 10 - 20 minutes on most days and also keeps causing the router to "hang/freeze up". It started happening after a day or two. This never happened before the "repair" took place. I hope Telkom will fix this as I am really fed-up for a almost non-service that is very expensive.
