23/12 I took my gf. Sam for Acrylics at DNB. Fanny was untrained & Letso did some of the job for her. Letso then used the shop's product to do her own Acrylic nails.
F was very rude. We talked to her & only got 1-word answers but F often got up to chat to L.
She kept filing Sam's skin & hurting her. There was a bubble on 1 nail that F blamed on Sam.
6 days later a nail fell off & the rest lifted. The DNB flyer has a 2-wk guarantee on new nails so we went back.
Fanny and Letso were at the back doing their eyebrows. They saw us but we waited 1 min until they came. L questioned everything & said the nail came off b/c Sam might be on meds; she isn't.
We demanded a refund for the terrible job. They won't do that-only fixes. We refuse to get more nails that fall off. I asked to talk to the manager but L said she won't like that. I told L to phone the manager who said we must read the notice in-store. It said the Refund Policy is on the back of the till slip. It isn't there. Then L said a fix can only be 3 days after appt, despite the 2-wk guarantee.
We said the manager should call when she returned from leave.
By 1Jan all the nails fell off.
We haven't heard from the manager who is back.
