Due to a back problem, a friend kindly paid Marvellous Maids to assist me over the December holiday period. We paid for 3 sessions in advance.
The first woman they sent clearly had absolutely no experience of domestic work. She told me it was only her fourth job. She obviously had no training whatsoever, had no idea of which cleaning fluids to use - and did not ask me for advice in spite of my urging her to do so - Handy Andy on wooden laminate floors! She could not iron, could not make a bed properly, was unhygienic, using soiled cloths to dry clean dishes.
I wrote to Marvellous Maids reporting the matter and insisted they did not send her again.
I had no response to my email and indeed the same woman arrived again this morning. I sent her away as I had said I would in my email to Marvellous Maids. This morning it is impossible to get through to their offices on any of their phone lines. I am now wondering if this is a bogus operation. I can find no Head Office contact numbers. I want my money reimbursed asap. Anyone have any helpful information about this organisation?
