It has been reported that Durban SPCA cleans out their cages by spraying water into the cages while the dogs are in it no matter whether it is day or night, summer or winter. Dogs are soaked in water and have to try and warm themselves while getting dry. They try and hide from the water but there is no way to go.( I have photo's to this evidence) Some animals are left without food and water. Is this the way to treat any animals while they are in your care? The SPCA is supposed to be a humane society with the welfare of animals at heart - this kind of treatment amounts to abuse - which is exactly the opposite of what the SPCA is supposed to stand for. I would like the NSPCA to investigate this and please report back to the public.
