I was trying to buy property in 2011 through an agency Thumps estate. The Agency (Mr Gershon) he recommended Chiba Jivan Attorneys to register the bond and apparently these attorneys were being used by the owner (Mr Shocket) to change ownership. The attorneys gave me a quote and I paid the full balance of R7800 in Jun 2011 before the house was registered. After some time not receiving feedback I phoned the attorney Mr Sanjay told me they are having a problem in getting the clearance certificate from City of Johannesburg. I therefore waited for feedback and the problem started when Mr Sanjay was not returning my calls and emails. I got impatient and I told Mr Sanjey to refund me my money back since there was nothing happening regarding the registering of the property. Until today the attorneys still have my money, and the agency has advised me that they are reselling the house. it's almost 2 years now fighting this battle and I no longer want the property and I have requested Chiba Jivan attorneys to give me back my money and even advised them to bill me for opening their file, but I'm not winning. I'm being robbed here and I wish I can get some help from hello peter. Please Help.
