I saw a add on junkmail for a TV. I contacted this Mr. Abdul Rafiq (not his real name i take it) via email.
He informed me that the TV was still in stock. I can make the payment and they will courier it to me the same day. To good to be true i did a search on the web and only found a website.
Doing a search on hello peter i found nothing.
Because i was sceptic i ask if they do COD (cash on delivery). He got back to me saying i must only cover the delivery cost and pay the rest in cash once i have the tv. Needles to say after i paid the R899 i received a mail saying i should now pay 50% deposit. After about 10 emails in wich he said he would dock R1000 of the R2500 i must pay himself, i cancelled the order. In every single email i told me to just pay, the tv will be delivered. Needless to say, after i canceled the order (i had to repeat myself 3 times, i havnt heard from him again.
I then picked up that he previously named the company GLOBAL electronics Communication Mobile Plaza. It is now GOLDEN electronics Communication Mobile Plaza.
This guy goes all out. Website, physical address you name it. But it is all FAKE.
