During the end year exam period of 2013, i went to the Unisa Durban centre to write a practical exam for EUP1501 on the 17 October. The exam was delayed by 30 minutes because of a internet connection problem, however the invigilator said we could go ahead and do the exam and he would put them onto a flash stick and later upload and submit them when the internet connection was secured. I was one of the unfortunate few who had to have it manually done, while some others were able to do it themselves without a problem. I now have a huge problem as Unisa has marked me as "absent from the exam" on my report, which is causing a problem when i apply for bursaries and jobs as i appear slack and uninterested in my studies! I have tried going to the unisa building but the lines are far too long with registration happening at the moment, and i dont have the time to wait in a queue for 6 hours for a problem unisa has caused by taking the risk of allowing an exam to be written considering the internet connection problem. Im very disappointed in unisa!
