I've experienced the best service from the lady in the paint department at the Cape Gate brach of Builders Warehouse. I purchased a R1700, 20l paint from them a while ago and then when I was on business in Somerset West I went into the Builders Warehouse there to buy a 1L paint to do one of the walls in my house. The person in the somerset west branch gave me an inferior base paint when he mixed the colour, which was a housebrand base and not an actual plascon base. When I went to the Cape Gate branch I agani expressed that I want a good quality paint, unfortunately the lady said that I cannot use another base paint as aposed to the inferior base already used on the wall. The lady then assisted me very kindly and helped me by explaining the situation and assisted me to the payment counter, afterwards she gave me a picture frame as a consolationi as she could see I was unhappy with the service I received at the somerset west branch. Excellent service and this lady should be promoted to manager. I apologise to her for not taking her name.
