We went to buy a car from EAE Motors in Vereeniging, What bad after sales service,
got a 1996 E280 Merc, old car but look gr8! got the car for a CASH deal and got R9 990 discount, my husband went to work from the dealer floor, when he wanted to leave the car would not start, he phoned them and they said, " you got discount we are not going to help you" so we got a new battery paid for it by our selfs, (R1400) and the car started, my husband came home to pick up me and the kids to go for a drive in the new car, got at the robot the car did not want to drive (automatic transmission) so we were stuck next to the road we phoned EAE, they said the same you got discount we are not going to help you, had a fight over the phone but still no help, so after about 10 min the car drove again, we then went to the nearest garage to check water and tyer pressure ext.. found out the car had zero gearbox oil in!! we put some gear box oil in, checked everything els, got in to drive car was stuck in P (Park) did not want to move at all! we were stuck at that garage until well after 8 pm with our kids!! got a towing company's flat bed to take the car home, we went to see EAE the next morning (26/10/2017) EAE said they will not refund us and neither will they fix the the problem, they said we drove the car off there floor so it was in a running condition when we received it, the car broke down at ext 22.4 km since we drove it off there floor and it leaft us stranded along side the road with 2 children in the car!!
I will for as long as I live stop anybody I know from buying a car from EAE motors!!
