On the 27 March 2013 I requested a settlement balance on my credit card as I am wanting to close the account.
I was given am amount which I paid on the 28 March 2013. When I called today, 3 April 2013, the call center agent confirmed that the payment date reflects as the 28 March 2013 but due to the banks delay interest had been changed on my account on the 1 April 2013 and if I want to close the account I need to pay the interest!
My payment date reflects the 28 March 2013... so how is it possible to charge me interest on a zero balance!
This is pathetic service... i regret ever agreeing to a having a credit card with African Bank!
