I have already lodged a complaint at SBSA with ref number 37930241.
I have settled my overdraft in Jan 2013. I have sent a secure message via internet and asked for account closure. I received confirmation that my message was received by SBSA. Since then I have not received any statements with regards to the account.
Recently staff from SBSA started phoning me and claiming my account is dormant and needs payment. Just between yesterday and today, I received 4 calls.
I feel I am being harassed, because every day they phone me and every day I have to explain my situation to the person who calls. They do not read the previous notes. If they would have done that, they would have seen that I have faxed proof of settlement on numerous occasions to different people.
I also received an e-mail stating that the account will be closed.
I cannot understand how it can take so long for the account to be closed.
Please assist me.
