I have tried using my gift cards at various branches of Edgars and always been told that are off line. Eventually you become fed up and just say charge to my account. The reason being there is a queue and people are waiting or becoming agitated. But recently at a sale when I tried again and an assistant tried my cards for a while each time and informed me that there was no money. I said to her that was no possible as I did not use these cards. She then said they have expired and there was noting she could do. I was really disgusted thinking here I am purchasing stuff and having a good payment record where they always phone and say you are one of our best customers and we are offering you this service and that and then you say you cannot do anything about my money that is on the cards. I have about -R1000 in gift cards which have not been used. I would like to know where this money goes to and what can I do to redeem these cards. I would appreciated your assistance in this matter as I have come to a dead end and no one seems to help.
