I have registered as a student with Unisa early December 2012. After being frustrated by their lack of commitment to student affairs and wrong information about modules in a Unisa document, I decided to deregister from the University. They are unwilling to refund any of the R3420 paid by me for the year's studies. The study year has not commenced yet and I have therefore received no service in return from them except for the study guides which I will gladly return. They lure students in with promises of fast and efficient service delivery, but I have seen only the contrary.By the time you realise this, it is already too late - you have already paid, which is exactly what they want.
