B Com Industrial Psychology and Human Resource Management students at the University of Johannesburg would be very familiar with the name - Zodwa Yende. She may very well be the longest serving member in the former Management Faculty, newly named The College of Business and Economics.
She is seemingly harmless and has the demeanor of an African Mother, she is however the complete opposite. She has caused many students grief and promotes the slandering of students on public platforms. Mental health is currently an issue in South African tertiary institutions and the manner in which she deals with students and exploits her position is a catalyst for the regeneration of ill mental health.
Her foul language, irritability, and a genuine sense of dislike for her job might very well be the reason why she has never been promoted! I strongly believe that some sort of intervention has to come about - quite frankly I want to see her gone but the thought of her supporting a family has stopped me from perusing that desire.
I write, victim of her abuse, in efforts to release some frustration because i still have to face that woman for another year.
