We installed a spa in 2011 and experienced problems with the heating since the outset. Due to the fact that we were busy with renovations, we did not retest the Spa until recently when it became apparent that the problem persisted. Since the warranty had no expired, techno spa refuse to sort the problem out and to add insult to injury, charged me R450 call out fee. They wanted an additional R2300 to repair a thermostat which, as it turns out, is not the problem. The spa was not installed correctly either as they did not allo for a trapdoor. I have now spent more than R20 000 on a complete white elephant. The spa is now also leaking, this after less than 10 uses.
Techno spa is a greedy, non-consumer centric company.
